Pentecost 2006

On Pentecost Sunday we got togather to prepare our Mass. We decided to concentrate on the Apostle's gift of tongues, so we prepared Bidding Prayers in other languages.

We discovered that we have Tamil, Gaelic, Latin, French and German speakers in our group. It sounded really exciting to listen to parts of the Mass in another language.

Father Charlton invited everybody to say the 'Our Father' in their own native language, and we joined in with translations from the internet: Greek, Catalan, Swahili, Spanish, Zulu, Dutch and even Text! (It starts Dad@hvn…).

We finished off afterwards with pizza and soft drinks in the Old Chapel."
