Fr Chris served as the Assistant Priest in the Parish of Our Lady Immaculate from 1996 until July 2005. Born in Cheshire in August 1935, Father Chris was ordained Priest in 1960 after studying at Oscott College, Birmingham. He joined the Parish as an Assistant Priest in 1996 when he decided to step down from the position of Parish Priest. His interests include classical music, cycling, walking and cricket. Pastorally he was especially involved with issues embraced by the Refugee Support Group. Fr. Chris has left the Parish and now has Pastoral responsibilities for a Convent & Nursing Community in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. On Friday, 16th September, 2005, a Mass of Thanksgiving for his time with us was celebrated. Should you wish to contact Fr Chris, he can be reached through the parish office.
