The Parish Pastoral Council was set up in 1990 to serve the secular and spiritual needs of the parish and parishioners - its President is the Parish Priest.

The Council meets regularly to receive reports from its working parties and to discuss matters of importance to the parish.

An Annual General Meeting is held each year in early summer to report back to the parish. Members, representing various age groups are elected by the parishioners, normally for 3 years. Issues of concern can be raised by the parishioners with any member of the Council or via the Presbytery.

The detailed work of the Council is undertaken by working parties, consisting of a Parish Council Member and other parishioners interested in particular aspects of parish life.
